About Michael J. LeBlanc, D.D.S.​

Dr. Michael J. LeBlanc is a native of Metairie LA.  He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University in 1998. After working as an Associate Dentist for 3 years, Dr. LeBlanc opened his solo practice in Prairieville LA in 2002. Since that time he has continually participated in courses covering the latest advances in all aspects of Dentistry. Dr. LeBlanc has spent well over 1000 hours and counting, in continuing education. In 2016 he earned a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, an award that only 6% of dentist in the US have obtained. The Fellowship requires 500 hours of advanced education in a 5- year time frame.

 

Dr. LeBlanc also serves as a hands-on mentor for newly graduated and well-experienced dentists through Practical Clinical Courses organization in Provo, Utah one of the most respected and advanced dental educational facilities in the country.

 

He is among only 400 dentists worldwide who have been chosen as evaluators for Clinicians Report,  a publication of CR Foundation and is read in 70 countries worldwide. This prestigious, nonprofit organization evaluates dental materials, equipment, and techniques.  In addition, Dr. LeBlanc has participated in controlled clinical trials for the advancement of dentistry. 

 

Dr. LeBlanc is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Gordon J. Christensen International Study Club, and  The Academy of General Dentistry.

 

Dr. LeBlanc has been married to his wife Jill since 2000. They have three daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his daughters, reading, fishing, and attending LSU baseball games.
